Step 7A - Job Reports and Budgets

There are 2 budget widgets available, one called the Full Budget and the other is the Cost Budget. The Full Budget displays the Estimated Budget (cost of BOQ Items), the actual Labour cost and the actual Purchase Order costs, which provides you with the Budget balance. The Full Budget also provides the estimated margin and actual margin, plus the financial status of client invoices for visibility of the projects cashflow position. If you don’t want all your staff to see your margins or cashflow, then you can also use the Cost Budget. The Cost Budget provides the Estimated Price quoted to the client against the actual spend to date for Labour and Purchase Orders. This allows staff to manage the budget without viewing full financial position of the business. Both budgets display the budgets by Cost Code Category and Cost Code, with a drill down to BOQ Item, and visibility of all the related timesheets and purchase orders.

FEATURES

  • Cost Code Configuration for Budget Management
